Although soldiers in the military are often given extensive protective clothing and gear to help protect them during combative activities, there is also a need overseas for using metal detectors that can help to determine if there are dangerous materials in a given area or on a person who is being detained. Metal detection technology is something that's seen continuous research and although they have been in use in many venues for decades there are always improvements and updates being made to even the most advanced detection machinery and especially those machines that are employed by the armed forces abroad.
